Adult Bloomers

Our amazing team of volunteers are committed to helping others. We take our convictions and turn them into action.
All of the Board of Directors are volunteers. Dr. Bill and Cheryl Cargill formed Adult Bloomers. They continue to provide guidance and supervision of the organization.

With the changing culture, it became obvious that young people were struggling to provide for their families. The single parent family has drawn our attention and led us to create this organization.
Adult Bloomers was formed in 2016 and qualified as a charity under IRS Code Section 501(c)(3) . The organization was dormant for several years and only recently began operations.

The focus of our activity is to seek out young adults who have decided that it is time to grow-up and take responsibility for themselves. We will provide support to help them bridge the gap to full self support

Our mission is to find and provide needed support to young adults who are finally maturing and trying to find their way in the world. Since our target service area is rural and West Texas, typical support would include, but not be limited to, providing a vehicle so that a person could travel to a job. A typical client would be a single parent trying to get off welfare.
